A little gray kitty in a Victorian style gown holds some tulips she plucked from the garden for her mama.

This scene is created by painting a whole picture's worth of different elements on paper and fiberboard, much like creating a set for a play… and then setting up and arranging those pieces to create a little world for the characters to live and play. I hope you'll enjoy the depth to the scenes and the slightly unusual look it lends as a world somewhere between 2 and 3 dimensions.

Cards on the scale that I sell and print them are truly more a labor of love than a good way to raise funds but I continue to make them - and spend a lot of time making them - because I love greeting cards myself — I think sending and receiving them is very important to making and maintaining real and lasting connections, and they're the most affordable way for most people to own any artist's work.

They measure 4.25 by 6 inches and come with recycled brown kraft style paper self-sealing envelopes. Printed locally from a photograph of a staging of many small acrylic paintings.
