This card is inspired by my love for old fashioned houses and scenes, kitties, the March family from Little Women, and paper dolls! (You can find this design offered as a paper doll set by clicking here.) I designed it as a trifold card so you can stand it up easily to display.

The painting was made by creating the background with coffee washed watercolor paper and India ink and then adding individual small cut out pieces as a collage, this gives it more dimension. You can see some of the tiny pieces in the photos - many of them are items from my own home and childhood or are things that my grandma and grand lady have passed on to me.. or that are symbols for these grand ladies, both of whom passed away this year.

My cards are printed at a local print shop and were made by taking a photographs of my original ink and watercolor paintings.

The back of the card (there is no “inside”) is blank for your message and they come with self sealing kraft paper envelopes. Cards measure approximately 3.75 x 4.5 inches.
